Al - You've got it! I had eggs wrapped in a bandanna. It was only a little way to the house, so I thought I'd put the eggs in the fridge before I skied down the the mailbox. I lost traction, slid backwards a bit, and managed to release a corner of the bandanna. The eggs got really, really cold before I put them in the fridge. I nearly froze my hands digging them out. Not a single egg broke

I love to Cross country ski and I still have my Fischer racers propped up in the corner of the barn covered in dust, they have however seen many many miles on them

i to have beter haching with the eggs in trays they seen to hach beter and the chicks that are out do not bother the one still in the eggs if they are on there side the other chicks will sometime roll the eggs over that have pipt and then they dround or they set on top of them and they can't git out so yes i hach with the eggs still in the tray
 
Ty all and happy late b-day city. I got Some Standard white and Bantam white cornish for my birthday. I will be Stalking the post office this week for sure as there shipped out on monday.

I already got a Valentine's present - a Poultry Book, it has good descriptions of Chicken colors.
 
My new little Black Cochin pullet has already layed two eggs. I got her and a Black cockerel and a bonus barred cockerel in the mail two weeks ago. They are all very tame.
