Had a message from Michael Tuesday night - he was looking for the new Okie thread - suspect that he was driving road equipment Wednesday and today.

Lost another guinea last night. Especially sad about this one, as he was my Alpha male--a coral blue--and the last of his generation. He was around 10 years old. He also died in the same place. I don't have heat in their pen; they've never needed it before. I put extra bedding in that dog house today. They usually don't even go into it. I guess the prolonged bitter cold is just too much for them. These are the first guineas I've lost in the winter time, and I've had them around 15 years.

kool , congrats on the new bator and the pips

i thought about getting bobs but , they are seasonal layers , and so i went with the courtnix so i can grow more birds out for the freezer

Joe - Did you get your extended cab yet?

Betsy - The three Coral Blues I got from you are doing really well. I'm sorry to hear you lost your alpha male. This winter has given us extreme low temperatures.

POOPS Question: Do you think we'll have a list of who is looking for what for this POOPS? Right about now is when I need to plan if I'm going to bring birds that others might be interested in.
