Chuck - Happy to hear you guys are faring well in the frozen North. What is the expected low for tonight up there? We are expecting a low of 1. I'm leaving a few lights on in the barn to take the edge off for the birds. I got an e-mail from my baby brother in California. He said they had one night last week where the temperature got down to 45 degrees, and he had to wear a long-sleeved shirt the next morning so that he didn't have to turn on the heater in his truck. Living there is like throwing hundred dollar bills out the window each morning and yelling, "Thanks for the nice weather!"

POOPS is an acronym that stands for "People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap" (but folks from everywhere are welcome).

POOPS is a huge fun, Family Reunion Poultry Show Feast. It's a get-together we try to have once a year to get together, put faces with names, eat, trade chickens, tell stories, eat, swap supplies, eat, look at all the different chickens, pigeons, ducks, peafowl, geese, turkeys and other animals people bring, and eat. It is a family event and friends and kids of any age are welcome. It's always a wonderful thing - and talking about it is one of the many things that keeps us chatting on BYC!
 
Hello and good evening folks.. woke up this morning at 5 to shower for work.. guess what? no water...grrrrr!!!!! and after the pipes were wrapped and heat lamps under the house and the water left dripping.. geesh ... turns out it wasnt on my end.. it was a main line froze..man.. whats a body to do ... still froze tonight... guess i will have to go roll in the snow to wash off....

Yes folks I am on it as we speak, I am lining up some preliminarys first so the announcement is more complete and need less updating. I am still working on all the list's and everything that pops up, will have it posted soon though.
