The outdoor brooder is bigger deeper and made of painted wood, it has a 60 watt bulb in it just to take the chill off at night. It as I said has a nice stiff wire bottom and sit's on a heavy wooden stand about 4' off the ground, I just clean out around the ground when needed. It has a heavy wooden hinged top for easy access to feed & water, ventilation comes from the bottom.
