Wasn't yesterday gorgeous! I could hardly believe it was 63 degrees - just 2 days after we tied State records for all time low temperatures.

My water was filtered and made into chocolate soy milk first, so no fishies doing nasty things in my hot cocoa this morning!

They are great!!! One started laying several weeks ago (have no idea which one) now she has been joined w/ at least 2 or maybe more. All beautiful green eggs so far. All the posts I read about EE's said they don't start laying until older around 6 months so I wasn't expecting any eggs until mid/late March so to get them early Jan was quite a pleasant suprise. I was worried about Oreo the only male, but no one has complained about his crowing yet

and he is still so well behaved.

How's your incubating/hatching going?

the incubating is a long 21 days lol ... the hatching not so bad lol

so when you going to post us some pictures of the flock , i havent seen them since they were chicks , i might have seen one pic since they have been older

I have posted many pics, but when I think about it probably to the EE's braggers thread. I'll see if I can post them to this thread w/o using more memory since I am at 100%. I'll try and do that now give me a minute to see if it works.

pretty girls .... you know if you could find a blue or splash ameraucana roo , he would go great with those girls it would add some more coloring into their chicks with the blue pattern , but those are still soem pretty girls

Thanks, I think they are beautiful too, but thought I was probably prejudice. They have such great little personalities too, they follow me like a little pack of puppies when I go out, it I sit or bend over to do something they try and perch on me, or sit in my lap, even Oreo will let me pet him and will take treats from my hand. The one I call Skyfire she is the one in the pic of the two chasing after the one, skyfire is the one in front looking back, she has alot of blue/grey in her, it is hard to tell from the two pics I have of her in this batch.
