that isn't what they look like....silly people

Hi Everybody!

Been lurking on the board off and on today. You all have me really getting the hatching bug. Bunch of enablers....

Donnie do I need to go ahead an put an order in with you now or is it first come first serve on your ameraucanas (EE)? I need white, blue, black and lavender, but am partial to the whites. Take all you can spare, chicks, eggs and adults. I have two of the biggest, sweetest black ameraucana roosters, Arnold and Abe and also a white cockeral, Waine. As for hens I only have black, blue, one rumpless white and a beautiful black, tan, gold and silver laced girl with the biggest beard I have ever seen on a hen and many roosters. Her name is Trinady. Yes everyone of them are named. Need to get pic posted of her so you can all see how lovely she is.

Oh and I have a little silkie hen who decided since she was shut up anyway because of the cold she might as well go broody. She is a great sitter, so if anyone has eggs they want to hatch let me know and I will stick them under her.

Well last night, made a trip to the Blanchard auction. It was really loud and Jim kept running up the bids but I got to hang out with some of BYCers and that always makes it fun. Surprisingly enough I only left with some plastic egg trays for the incubator, got kind of screwed over those but not bad enough to make a stink about it. I have been told the Prague auction is next Friday and Saturday. Considering taking off work on Friday to go see what is for sale. Not sure about that yet. Saturday I will definitely be there, hoping to get something really cool to add to the zoo that is becoming my life.

Is anyone else planning on attending??

Gerald mentioned there is going to be an auction in Newcastle next Saturday. Does anyone have more information on that. It would be awesome to hit two auctions in one day. A fun filled day of auctiony goodness.

Are we still planning to have it at the KOA campground? That seems to be a pretty good place for everyone. Of course I am partial to it since it is only 30 minutes from my house.

I am probably going to take that Friday off so I can hang out with everyone Friday night.

Guess I better get ready for bed, have to get up early.
