There is going to be a certain amount of "pecking order" time when a new bird is introduced into a flock. With the weather like it is I would sure give it a try. You might want to watch them for a little while to make sure no damage is done but the Pecking is normal. Since you have :"introduced" the birds little by little it should be fine.

it is easy to have sandy soil in pens...you call the truck it dumps a bunch on the basketball court then you tell the boys they can play basketball again when the sand is in the chicken pens! It works out great!
All the frozen water is what caused my issues...the bird poop build up on it and stuff and other stuff has made it impossible to clean anything and frankly has led to a nasty mess that i walked through yesterday...did I mention the funky smell...there is a really funky smell...and the boys were not involved strangly
got an update on the oldest boy!!
He got a 1st in class with his wether (Tank) that ended as 5th for breed
then he got a second in class to his sweet heart (cute girl) with Miss Twinkle...they lost track of breed placing on her...
ag teacher informed them that making sale with at least one was good and possible with both! He is jazzed but not as jazzed as if he had gotten a buckle...
