Joe - Wish you could give egg packing lessons. I just got what should be some show quality Ameraucanas eggs from Texas, and two out of fifteen were smashed. The box was too small, the bubble wrap was sometimes taped to the egg, and there was only a single layer of tiny-bubble bubble wrap on the bottom of the box as cushion. I'm setting the hatch tonight, so I won't know if the jarring that broke the eggs has also addled the clutch. I hope they are okay.

Thanks Joe. I always worry about viability when a clutch has been roughly handled. Our USPS guys are great, but somewhere along the line the box must have been dropped, bumped hard, or shoved against another box. If the egg box had been bigger with more cushioning, the eggs would have traveled better.

Me too. I'm hearing rumors that has been difficult for some since the thread change.

For those who had the old list "bookmarked" or had "subscribed to the thread" they are getting the old list and even though we left a note on the last pages of the thread on where to find the new thread, some are having difficulty.

Who was looking for Jungle Fowl and/or an Oklahoma Hatchery for RIR chicks? I just got an email from B&D Game Farm, where I have purchased Wild Turkey eggs in the past, and they have added about 5 varieties of chicks and bourbon red turkey poults to their products. They are located North of McLoud, so I always just picked my eggs up instead of having them shipped. They also sell coternix quail eggs for hatching or pickling.
