Now don't talk that way...mine are very self consious about that...they might have some thread bare spots on their clothes but they are good birds that work hard...they just can't afford the fancy outfits the cochins and such have...

Robin,
How did your house guinea do outside?

well, she is back inside- she was huddled down hiding her head- i honestly don't think she knows she is a guinea- we have discussed making her a private run and coop and try to introduce her to some teen keets if we can find some- sigh.... poor little flash....eternally a misfit

Had to go to Orscheln's today. Made it in and out without any new chicks.

It helped that they didn't get them in today.

That's alright, our first hatch of the year started this AM. Anyone need a BSL olive egger roo? About an hour old.

I'm a tester, but not for OK. Don't know if we're going to be able to make it down for POOPS. If we do make POOPS, my eldest could help carry cages as well.

Have to get back to cage building.

So I went to Atwoods today and did not escape without chicks. I don't know what they are, other than "Bantams, Assorted Straight-Run". I figured if they turn into something I don't like, they can always make the trip to POOPS with me.

Remember there is NO AUCTION this weekend at Blanchard. We will be supporting our local FFA chapter in their local livestock show. Our next sale will be March 12th. Consignments are already coming in. Chuckars,Golden Pheasants, and supplies. Of course lots of Poultry.

See you in March.
