How awful!

I lived in Hopkinsville for about six months when I was at Ft. Campbell. Horses and buggies were a pretty common sight around that whole area. I can't imagine what that family must be going through.

Yes, i hope to sell plants also but the 600 ive started are for my garden.

I will need to find you at the Choctaw farmer's market this summer, for certain. That's a lot of tomato plants. Will you be selling tomato plants in addition to selling tomatoes later in the season?

If the chickens at the co-op say "Aunt Nellies chicken" they are grown and processed by the D.A.R.P. facility in Tahlequah and they deliver frozen chickens to OKC several times a month - usually for $1.50 per lb.

They are one of the prducers with the cheapest prices, just checked the website and they have whole birds @$2.50lb and the most expensive poultry producer had whole birds @$5.00lb

Hi Donnie - That's fine. You hadn't sent a PM, so I wasn't expecting any Saturday. April is fine too. I'm hatching from my flock this month to check fertility, so my brooders are going to be full or close to it for most of March. I like your new signature line. I think you're going to be busy, busy, busy filling orders for some really nice birds.

Good morning all, Okladoodle glad to see you guys made it through this one, stay safe, Coral thanks and we will hopefully see you Sat. noon, I am excited to go. On a sad note, I set 51 eggs on the 3rd and they were due to hatch on the 24th? I had five chicks hatch, had to help two of them and one was dead this morning, I will let the eggs et today and tomorrow what has not hatched is pig food. I think the cold weather got several of the eggs, and I had some in that came from West Virginia and have none of them hatched yet, so will wait till Sat eve and candle again and throw out duds. Any help here is appreciated! Thanks and yall have a blessed day today! I gotta go to work! Lynn

Really sorry to hear about the eggs not hatching. I leave my unhatched eggs in four days past the expected hatch date. I toss the unhatched ones after I've checked to see how far along they were before they became quitters. I should keep a log. That would help me figure out where I'm messing up during the hatch. On Saturday I'll be parked over by the sheds. I've been itching to go look inside the really big ones.

Lynn, do a few eggtopsies on the ones that didn't hatch so you can find out when they stopped developing. Take some photos and let us see if you need some help. It will help narrow things down. Incubating eggs isn't a simple thing, and many problems arise during the process.

You were supposed to have taken a nap this afternoon> You don't mind very well do you?

I have kids so naps don't happen unless it's them getting to take a nap. I also wouldn't of been able to sleep if I had taken one so I am glad I didn't.

morning okies!! Wayne, glad you made it through those storms- our ducks and poser were thoroughly enjoying it!!
