We have an awful lot of auctions around the center of the state where you can always find very nice birds at a good price, have you considered that ?? where are you located in the state.

where are you located at ? there are several auctions you could attend to get you some layers for now , and ill have plenty of chicks before long , and i will be at poops as well

never been to a auction dont know the breeds like i do the games wouldn't know the good ones
is there one sunday some where

Hey Donnie - Great to talk to you and Lynn today (and Lynn's son --- You sure know your chickens!)

Lynn - I think I'll call the roo Topper so that when I get chicks from Penny they will be Topper Penny's chicks (Copper Pennies????). He is really calm now that he told the BLRW brothers across the way that he's in charge. They can see each other, but all they did was serve each other with a little break dancing. Nobody challenged the fence. How about a dozen eggs from them at POOPS? I want to hatch as many as she produces for a while. I really like the coloring of both birds, and I think this is going to be an excellent pairing.

There may not be any on Sunday's, but if you make a plan to meet some of us crazy auction goers we sure can help you ID good LF birds. Blanchard is a good one that is close to you they have them on Saturday nights and normaly have several hudred birds to choose from.

hi everyone- got a question- poser the goose is moping this afternoon- usually she is chatty and into everything- any ideas? think she's lonely? if that is the case we need a gander for her....

Donnie - I already know I'll be happy with the chicks. I'm putting brooders together and John is helping with things like chains for adjustable-height light fixtures (engineering touches I wouldn't have thought of).

Robin - Is there anyone local who has a gander they could spare? I've seen lots of ducks at auctions, but geese are not so common. I hope you find one.

Where do you go sell chickens at auctions? Is it legal to sell eggs from roadside stands?
