The last time I had a doctor's visit like that my GP informed me I was suffering from T.M.B. He said this with a straight face, looked at the ground in a sober manner, and then started to leave. I stopped him, concerned, and asked what T.M.B. is. "You are suffering from Too Many Birthdays," he told me. "We used to take aging in stride. Now we want to be bungee jumpers and skate boarders until we're 80, and we don't want to have any aches or pains." He told me to stop pretending to be 20 and take it easy.
I hope the x-rays help your doctor figure out what's wrong. Here's my doctor's T.M.B. treatment regimen: Get lots of rest, ask for help when reaching for thing above your head, and respect the pain because it's warning you of your limits. Feel better soon.
I will gladly eat my bland, mushy, tasteless homeland chicken, ( if I ever eat chicken again) I will never again complain about additives, hormones, antibiotics or anything else, I will be a vegetarian before I do that again for food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was just a mercy killing, the chicken that got attacked by my dog, that we tried to nurse back to health, she developed gangrene. The meat thread makes it sound soooooo simple ....... just put them upside down in the traffic cone and one slice and your done!!!! B/S I put her in and out 4 time cutting higher and higher up the cone each time, never did get her head to come out and she was just a 5 month old female EE. So then zip tied the feet and taped the wings (not easy when done by one person) and hung her from her feet. Waited for the eyes to close and the "trance" to start, never did when I would touch her to do the deed she would open her eyes and look at me. Had a brand new sharp fillet knife, still had to do some "sawing" not just one clean swoosh. Fortunately hit the vien the first time, then she went crazy the tape came off the wings and seemed like forever until she stopped breathing.

been there- actually i make dave do it.... heart breaking! i always swore after my Duchess, i would let them die naturally- but that only works part of the time- sometimes you do what you have to do- one suggestion in the future- whenever there is any animal attack, the bird needs antibiotics- i don't know if it would matter in this situation though- but cats have a bacteria in their saliva that will kill a bird in 24 hours- from my wildbird rescue experience- so pack a wound with at the minimum neosporin and give oral or injectable antibiotics
on another note- i can't eat commercial chicken, after getting involved with chickens and helping promote the rescue of battery hens in the UK, by doing an art series of them-
