I'm up for that I will start the project in a few days when I can get a new pen fixed,
Now what would be better the EE roo over the NN hen or the other way around.

BTW what is toe punching?

Toe punching is a method of marking a young bird to identify what breeding or other trait of the parents you want to track. With the Toe Punch you place a whole in the web between the toes. Each web is assigned to something you can track such as pen number, or if you have two roos and or two hens you can assign the one foot to the roosters and one to the hens and punch one web for which rooster etc. The whole does not grow closed so you can mark them at hatch and identify them through to adulthood.

I'm trying to start a small flock of EEs and was hoping to get at least one Olive Egger out of these eggs. We'll see if I can get anything to hatch out of them. I bet those Blue Copper roosters must be good-looking.

I expect to have some hatching eggs and some chicks from all our birds available at POOPS. I've asked my husband, Gerald to take pictures of our birds and eggs tomorrow, so hopefully I can post them soon. I've got lots of eggs that need to go in the incubator, so I'd better hurry and get off the computer!

So do you just use a paper punch, sorry I had never heard of this before

It's a big "if", but I hoping the USPS left something alive for me. And then someone else can love it and hug it and pet it and name it George.

well well look at all this NN talk if you whant to make any new NN all you need is one of the roos i will be haching then put hime over the breed/color you whant and seence mi NNwill carry the dobel dominet NN gene 100% of the chicks will be NN then all you have to do is breed for color or body typ or size ex ex ex you could make NN anything
