Lynn you will have to set it up & see if it holds temp before you can set any eggs. The one that I use has a water container on the top shelf that I kept full all the time. I had to block a couple of the holes in the back to keep the temp steady. I went with 99.5 to 100.5, I like to candle at day 10.

No thought on filters for the vents, just anytime you have chicks in the house you have lots of "chicken dust"

For those of you who have dish Network Satelite TV, you have to check out the guide. They are giving us all free 1 yr upgrades for Starzs and encore. That's good for me cause I only have showtime & the HBO's in my pkg now. Everybody get's it Free.
