morning folks, from ponca city okla.just started with chickens this feburary. We orderd 25 rir and 5 buffs from cackle hatchery . They were a month old the 18th of march. Built a coop with lots of appreciated help from fellow online chicken lovers . ( thanks all ). we had our tractor set up and ready to go yesterday, just in time to let the chicks out on a great 80 degree okla. day. Know they are a little young for an outing but they had a ball on the first day out, the wife and I enjoyed watching them discover the sandy earth. Had more fun watching them than they did pecking around for whatever and trying their wings .Tractor is coverd and safe but the wife babysat with them untill they were back in the coop, Said they beat tv anytime. Good to find this thread and folks from okie land to visit with . Will enjoy and appreciate any advice and comments you all may have . Help us out with do's and dont's as we need it. thank's

Rise & shine you early risers, another week starting, you ready ??.
