My DW has plans for me today. Seems like I don't get enough done around here when she is off at the Salt Mines with Krank. Looks like I will have a busy day. So much for watching movies and chatting with my friends.

Beth's Tip of the Day: When you go out to gather eggs in this weather, take the basket. If you try to put 10 eggs in your coat pockets there's a very high probability that at least a couple of them will break in a pocket and you'll have to wash your Carhartt.

Woke up this morning to a horrible thing.

One of the girls got left out last night.

Found her huddled in the snow and ice this morning. She is alive, and I can't see any signs of frost bite.

She was caked in ice (her feathers) we have her inside I think all the ice is melted off now, and she got a nice warm couple of towels straight from the dryer, and a warm bowl of oats and eggs, she is acting a lot fiestier now. I'll check one more time for frost bite then let her go back to the coop w/ her girl friends.
