My RiR roos wattles are discolored and swolen, can someone tell me if they will go back to normal when it warms up??
Chickens are sloppy drinkers sometimes and get their wattles wet, this is a bad time for them to have wet waddles, and you are probably seeing the first sign's of what the freezing cold can do. Try vasoline on them it will wick the water away and they stay dry but protected with moisture, if that makes any sense.

I don't know about this - someone with more experience might know. Did he stay outside in the weather or was he indoors - how is his comb? By discolored, are they darker or lighter than usual - what color are they? What kind of roo is he?
lynn as far as that sportsman goes...hit the normal temp, fill the top thingy with water, and you are supposed to adjust the vents...who knew...I just wing it...the wife doesn't yell real loud when there is stuff in the house..okay she yells loud but I am kinda deaf...I know..I am of little help but...that is me!
well the plumber has come and gone...we still don't have water...I think the meter froze...I have a light on it...I have three under the house...I have no idea what is going on...I would really liek some water...
Teach sorry you are still without water! I know how that is, we didn't have a problem with it freezing but it would always break in the old house. More things that I am thankful for in my new house.
