on the brite side i got 18 more lite brama eggs from fowl vision

and my first trio of coro splits stared laying to day i got 18 pure coronation and coronation splits eggs

so donnie your first girl should start laying soon and im ordering another 1502 GQF uless there is someone to stop me -----to late it has been ordered

I have some of the little orange-beaked birds in my yard too - and cardinals. Then the bully blue jays came and made everyone else leave, so I went out and threw more scratch out for the poor put-upons.

I think your idea of getting just a few more is great. The EEs are usually pretty easy to pick out, as are the Black Australorps (very pretty birds and good layers), and Barred Rocks - which are also very friendly and popular as layers. If you like, you can come over to my house and see what some of the breeds look like when they're grown. Atwoods in our part of the country gets their chicks from Ideal, and that is also where I got most of my hens from when they were day olds.
