Nice looking truck Joe. Now you can haul a lot of birds! and feed! That looks like our last snow,real pretty and stuck on the trees and everything!If it has to snow I at least like it to be pretty!
Joe how are Gramps A frame pens working out in the snow?

It snowed most of the day here, not sure how many inches it's added. My neighbor was just by with his bobcat to clear the driveway. I may be able to venture to the store tomorrow to pick up more dogfood, the one thing I have started to run out of.

The buckeyes have continued to lay regularly and are nice enough to keep the eggs warm for me until I can get out there and grab them. The other day one laid a huge double yolker right in front of me. The quail are laying eggs all over the place, but they freeze so quick I don't even bother to try to collect them. I'll have to gather them up when it starts to thaw or else I'll have a heck of a mess. One good thing about the snow is that it has proved that my compost pile is working the way it is supposed to. It's gotten hot enough to melt most of the snow off of the top of itself. Now if it will just warm up and stop snowing I can go back to thinking its almost time for things to start growing again.

okla- gramps lost 3 birds so far in the a frams due to this snow /cold he said that next year he will put visqueen around them

I worked today. It has snowed all day here but can't tell ya how much more.

EVening Joe, nice truck ya got there. The next car/truck I get will be front wheel drive or 4x4. I did pretty good when I had studded tires but there isn't any getting around in this now.

EVen getting out today, I am going crazy with the prospect of being stuck in the house all weekend again. I will be getting out in the morning, going to the feed store & most likely my grandma's because her water is froze up.

I hope mine look that good when they finish growing. How many Brahma's do you have? I have 3 pullets 1 young roo and a cockerel. Pic in my avatar is the cockerel.
