I'm with you al, got a shower yesterday myself. and today, we lost pressure, I went and checked, one of the outdoor faucets had popped off the pipe, and was spraying water. I replaced it with a end cap. Couldn't find my hack saw, so used my cordless rotary saw. Its cuts pvc pipe pretty fast. I was amazed. we have water back on now, and found my rubber boots were too small for my feet. grrr.
hey sooner, they are a womens 12, mens 10, could you use em?

Peaches,if you have a outside faucet close to the location of your hot water heater the line probably comes into your house close to that point, or by the water heater it self. With the temp below freezing there would be no frost. Mine froze at the point the line enters the house itself, had water running but a 6 in piece between heat tape and house still froze. woke up yesterday morning to the sound of water running in my sinks. It was a good morning. Keep an eye and ear open for running eater under your house today since it will be warmer.
