you need to take it easy, ya ain't no spring chicken anymore ya know!!!
LOL Really!!!
Be careful, I had the Iowa Blues, I was not impressed with the ones I got from Ideal Hatchery, they were fast growers but the hens only laid what I would call medium-large eggs, they didn't aly all that great either I thought. The Roos were very pretty but I never raised very many out of them and ended up letting BigOkie take them when I had the heat exhaustion attack last summer. i think I will have ALL the Americaunsa I need if ALL the eggs I have in my incubator from West Virginia and from mine and then the ones from Donnie in his incubator from his AMs for me, I may end up with a few surplus Roosters as it is!!!! LOL Did ya get me any of those Key West Gypsies??!!!??
we just got back in from taking care of the sheeps and goat...we got a late start cuz we had to come home and take care of our wild game. We went out and got ourselves some rabbit. We caught a jack rabbit monty but it did not survive the catch process...I promise i was aiming to stun...also..ya'll should be on the lookout for a coyote. Last I saw it was going at a fairly good clip in your direction...I might have encouraged it to run faster..

I live in Winchester, near Beggs. I could probably collect a couple dozen eggs, although I'd like to wait for the weather to warm up and the sun to shine a little more to make sure they're fertile. As for my BAs, I only have 2 hens that are old enough to be laying, so by the time I got 2 dozen, the first dozen wouldn't be good anymore.
Hey thats ok, just keep me in mind when you get ready to let some eggs go, I would be happy with 2-3 dozen od the B and BA together if that works for you! How much $ we talkin? Lynn

Sure thing. I'll send you a pm on the prices.
Jeez, I feel like such an egg dealer. Maybe I should invest in a baggy coat with lots of pockets and hang out by the street with my hat on sideways...
