We had more than 4" of snow last night. The accumulation on our covered front porch is over 2". I'm in warming up so I can go dig out the door to the guinea pen. They're all up on the roost. Maybe they'll stay put until I bring in some fresh food and water. The smallest guinea usually leaves their warmer sleeping quarters to investigate in bad weather. She's the trail blazer in the group. She's also the only guinea who waits as I lift the waterer off the heated cookie tin. She has figured out that that's where a warm snack lives. I'm not fast enough to get a picture, but here's one that looks just like the furry guinea snacks.
