So we moved our chicks to the outdoor brooder today. We thought yay, no brooder in the house. Well we went to Atwoods and.........

My mom and daughter picked them out. They were in the assorted pullets. I have no idea what they are, but they are cute! Settling in well, in the brooder IN THE HOUSE sigh!

I hear ya six, I started out just wanting chickens to have eggs & eat the bugs, didn't care what breed they were just that they looked colorful, now look at me!

I can't go to the feed store with my DD until they don't have chicks anymore or the same thing happens to me.

well, i packed it with neosporin, and dusted it with flour, which did stop it, until she picked at it- so i had her in my lap most the afternoon to keep her from picking it- silly bird- anyway- check this out....

really not sure what happened unless she had ripped a foot feather and what i thought was poo was a scab.... what a mess!

I don't know about you but they are so cute it's hard to pass up. I have to figure out what my breeding plan is going to be this summer & start working to get to that point.

I believe I am going to have a lemon blue OEGB that will be leaving soon.
