When on Saturday do you plan to get to Fletcher? I'm trying to decide if I want to go early (Friday) or stay overnight Saturday and drive back Sunday mornig. DH is out of town that weekend, so I can only leave the animals alone for one full day. Last year we arrived early, early Saturday and left late, late Saturday. It was a loooooong day. I'm not sure I want to do that again.

I think I will try to get the around 9am or so, that way I can have time to get things ready for the food & still have time to visit before lunch. I'm sure that might change once Al post the plan for the day. I am assuming that we will try to eat sometime between noon & 2pm.

I personally would stay over & drive on Sunday if it were me.

Thanks - I was leaning towards staying over Saturday night.

Put me down for bringing a big pan of bana (banana - so much for spell checking) pudding dessert and a big pan of home-made cinnamon rolls: the kind with neat crunchy and squishy stuff inside.

Good morning everyone. I actually slept in until 9:00 today. I have been up at 4:00 every morning for te past several months, even days off. It felt so nice to sleep a while. I just hope I'm not getting sick. I've been really worn out the last few weeks.

Wel Lauren's birthday isn't for a few more months, but one of her birthday presents was delivered last night. A guy that DH works with had a yearling filly that he wanted to get rid of an was willing to trade it for some help from Andrew and Jordan. Lauren has been begging for a horse for a while and we never had the space for it. Well I have given up the space for my large coop and run and that is where the colt is now homed. This just means that Andrew had to give up the space for his dogs to build a bigger and better coop and run. Hehe I win either way. Currently I just have the one pen with 6 Seramas and the condo with the trio of Silver Duckwings. I still have plans on buying some laying hens, but it has just been postponed. I'm thinking of setting up an incubator. I haven't had one running since last summer. I need to find some eggs first. The Seramas aren't laying yet after being brooch, but the others are. Does anyone near me have any eggs that they might wanna get hatched. I'm not sure what I'd be interested in. Heck I might even be persuaded to take something other than chickens. I am just in a hatching mood.

Well I better get going. I'm supposed to meet Andrew for lunch and I'm not even dressed yet.

Just wanted everyone to know I will be attending this years Poops I will be bringing lots of chicks. I will hopefully also be Processing and slaughtering some Birds to smoke for poops. Also bringing a signature chili.
With that being said Broodys out hatching me some babys now have 300 eggs hatching the 4th and I just finished setting 200 more eggs. I am selling my large flocks so if you want any barred rock plymouth white rock or black aussie hatching eggs or chicks now is the time to let me know before the flocks are gone. I have to make room for all the cornish I have been buying. I have birds coming from south carolina, california,kentucky, Illinois, indiana, and new york. I decided to focus on Standard and bantam cornish and buckeyes,
I will also keep my blue andolusians and minorca's and ameruacana's and standard cochins. I am so exited this is gonna be a wonderful year. Official building date for our new farm begins march 27th cant wait.
