Don I sent an email to them to see if the cages sell with the bird & if they plan to have a monthly or bi-monthly thing but haven't got a response, do you happen to have any of that information?? Are you planning to attend? I plan to stop by if there is any way I can get there, I have alot going that day.

Yeah I talked to the guy
he said if this first one goes good then they will have another I believe he said the first friday in april.
The cages do not sell with the birds. the main auction dude is the owner of the livestock auction that burn down.
He said that he has had a lot of people showing instrist (sp) man I tried to spell that word 10 times I give up.
he is thinking maybe 500 plus birds I guess we will see, I am not sure I can make this one because of the time factor but the next one for sure. I told him that I had posted it here.

not sure if we'll make it - but will try!

Hello,

Since I'm new to posting on these forums, I'm looking to get a simple pointer from fellow OK chicken owners; how do I find the most recent posts on here? I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ's.

A little about me & my girls:
We live in OKC. I have three one-year-old hens who are egg-laying machines, and have developed an affection for roosting on the grill outside the back door. Recently, I bought four newly hatched (about a week ago) who currently live in a spare room of the house. I love my girls. My friends are jealous!

You have found a great place to learn anything you want to know about chickens!!
As for the new posts, the thread that has the last post will move to the top of the screen & the newest post will always be on the last page. Once you leave the board or thread you will know if there is a new post by the topic being highlighted.

Well I finally get to join the "I have spring baby peeps"group! Had the first ones of the year hatch today under a broody. One nn,two comets, one ee and two nn with all feathers on.

I don't suppose you would be picking up a dog while you were at it, would you?

I know someone who is interested in 1 to go with tje one I would like to have.

Two of the adults and two of the new chicks are supposed to be Red Stars, the others are Black Stars. I wonder about the adult Black Star, though. She's completely black, with no red/brown feather on her neck and breast. Just solid black, but has an iridescent green tint in the sunlight. She also has white earlobes, and lays white eggs. Sounds strange, I know.

I live in NW OKC.

I was reading about the POOPS meet in May, and would LOVE to go, but won't be able to. My son's graduation is the same day. I remember one of the local TV news stations report on it last year, and it looks like a lot fun!
