City - Keep me updated as your babies grow. If you start seeing obvious coloring in combs let me know. Most of the Ameraucanas I've got left in the brooder will likely be splash. I've got another hatch scheduled for the end of this month that will probably have more black and blue chicks if we need to swap some out for you.

True Grit was wonderful. I'm going to find my copy and re-read it.

Will do Poco - so far I think they're doing well - sleeping lots while I'm sitting over them, but then I'll go out and see them up and moving around. I haven't seen them all up long enough to tell if everypeep is eating and drinking.

Finding my old True Grit book and reading it is exactly what I did the day after I saw the new True Grit movie. I admit I gasped "no!" and immediately teared up during that scene toward the end - at night - under the bright white stars...

Jerry, Sam and I went to the Newcastle auction tonight. I bought some chick waterers, feeders, some other misc stuff and Sam had to have these Frizzled Serama's so he got them. Almost home now. Then up in the morning to get brooder set up for the babies I bought at lumber 2 Thursday and today. Can't go in there without buying a chick this time of year! My incubator (just the lil giant) is up and got eggs in it. Hatcher is set up. So I am ready for eggs! Bring them on!!!! Hope to have the big bator started before POOPS.

Crested sounds like you did good at the sale! How many Seramas did you get? There were some listed on our local craigs today for $20 a pair. I am trying real hard to keep saying no! But I want some so bad!lol

i did well at the auction my birds and eggs sold verry high and some luky man got 2 doz of my coro sussexs eggs ( my friend HAR ) at a grate price 16.00$ a doz my ameracauna pullets sold for 17.00 a pice my royal palm tukeys sold for 52.00 a pice self blue OEGB 12.00 a pice EX EX EX i could go on but i don't whant to bor you with # so to make a long story short it was a good selle and i am verry tierd but i can't go to sleep because my mom is comeing in from FL and should be here about 12 oclock

Joe was this sale the one at Centerton? Sounds like that is the one to go to in our area. How did you like the Muskogee one? Was there a good variety there?

moskoge was a lot of trash birds that were labeled wrong and sold high exsept for a few gold nugets it was a bunch of poor Q or mutts that where labed wrong and the guy saying wat they where

at him it still craks me up

then after the sale was over i tryed to talk to the guy that put on the sale but he just egnored me so i guss he dose not know how manny birds i can bring every week
