I recommed Birmingham rollers,my main breed! They come in a world of colors, and if you do get a chance to fly they are very neat with their "rolling acts" They turn sumersaults as they drop, some as much as fifty-sixty feet! They are fairly easily found, and not real expensive. Great and fast producers! White birsd are for sure hawk bait! But non flying breeds like fantails and Indian Fantails make a beautiful white flock. For meat Californians are my favorite followed by new zealand and crosses between the two.

Hey I see where the Stilwell sale is next friday nite, are you going or do you have to work?

There is a trio of Welsummers on the Tulsa craigslist for sale,Also a nice trio of geese, the hens look like pomerains, wasn't somebody looking for those the other day? Think it was Teach!

Went to the Blanchard auction. Saw a lot of nice looking birds and bunnies. Didn't see anyone with rooster t-shirts on though, so didn't get to meet anyone. We stopped at the casino on the way home. Put $20 in a game - about 10 minutes later had a ticket for $107! Left after that, and went for some steak & shrimp. It was a nice evening.

upcdazy, did you see a table in the back with alot of folks around it? I know that Buckguy, Michael & Jarvis were there. Buckguy was shopping for me, got to love Okies always there to help spend your money & encourage you to start a new breed! LOL.

Great job on winning & steak sounds good!!

There were a few tables the back with folks around them. I was mostly looking at what everyone was wearing, and didn't see the rooster shirts. LOL There was one table that had more folks than the rest, and I wondered if they were some of the BYC folks, but didn't want to seem like a weirdo asking strangers that.

Had a nice time anyway.

Wish I had a bigger place to keep more critters. Have been looking for a spot out of the city. I'd like something with at least 10 acres - just have to keep my eyes open. I would love to have some peafowl. There were a few at the auction tonight that were pretty.

Possibly!!!! What ya got and what do you want!!!!!

Glad you had a good time & I bet that was the table the last time I was there the table was on the back wall across from the actionier & behind the chairs that everyone sits in.

I'm glad I am in the country but have decided that I have too much in the way of critters. Going to have to downsize some.

My sister-in-law used to raise rabbits in Amarillo and sold most of her rabbits to a labratory that sent a truck around to collect the young crop every few months. Are rabbits still used in medical research? She also had a secondary market for fishing worms raised in composting beds under the rabbit cages.

It just so happens I know this guy that has a bunch of West of England Tumbler, they are beautiful and they fly good and do summersalts in the air!!!! Come in lots of colors!!! HEY TEACH!!!! Donnie is looking for PIGEONS!!!!! Lynn
