yep- he got booted yesterday and flogged me today- dang his little hide anyway! nope i don't tolerate it- so what has a mellower personality a cochin or EE?? all i need one for really is to guard the girls when they freerange

Cochin! They cant fly so they cant flog, and I havent had one try and we had 5 different varieties. I only had problems with one, and he didnt like me picking him up so he bit me(he hadnt been handled since he was a baby),

Robin, what type of Brahma is he. Bantam or Standard? I've two roosters in the same pen right now and both are as docile as they can be. When I got home today both of them and the hens all came running and went straight into the pen.

i know my banty cochin roo hasn't got a mean bone in his body! unless you are another roo...
