My family keeps telling me I need to write a book!!!! When people think about my job they think about the blood and guts (which there is some of) but the people you meet and what they do normal people would seriously never think about ..................... ever!!!!!!

Last week we got called out at 100 am for a woman who had an eyelash in her eye!!!!!! She seriously called 911 for that ............. and there wasn't even anything in her eye!!!!!!

From my understanding Donice(luvs2bmemaw) is a paramedic or EMT. She got a call one day just because the lady needed a ride to town... She was trying to use the ambulance as a free taxi....

People do some of the dumbest things.

Hubby is having surgery at 3:15 pm on Friday...robotic lingual tonsil removal. He suffers with severe sleep apnea and has had a tracheostomy. He has had a series of surgerys over the past two years. Hopefully this one tomorrow will be the last and he might possibly be able to remove the trach or have a "button" installed. He will be in ICU at least overnight if there are no complications. Prayers would be most appreciated.
