I got to get up there and get some of those neat college bantams before you sell them all!lol. Isold the pig today, took four hens and a roo in as part of it. They are really nice big hens but I am taking them to auction tomorrow. I am selling some pigeons Sunday and part of that deal is a trio of standard NNs at point of lay or laying!
Set another hen today. It was the first time I have seen a hen pull feathers to line a nest. I had just remade her nest with fresh hay so she could cover more, and when I checked her later she had a bunch of feathers under the eggs!

Boy you need some bigger brooder boxes!lol. Thats a bunch. I see a few polish in there! They are so cute as chicks(as well as grown).
I got my first 70 moved to a brooder in the shed today. Hope they do okay. Should have hens start hatching again next week. When I get up there we may to join up a nd raise birds. You hatch and I'll brood! We may have to hijack one of the Tyson feed trucks as they come down my road to feed them all!lol
