Hopefully not too much...LOL. I am going to fiish up the laundry soap I still have so i can make a new batch today, got to go to the feed store this morning and get dog food, and with a little luck going to get a few canning jars(I found something that sounds easy to make).

What is it???? You have to share!

I did the feed store yesterday, I would like to finish my A frame today but not sure I will get home in time to do much.

Mountain Dew Jelly... I figured no mashing straining or anything, its got to be simple for the first trial in canning.

Good for you! I made grape jelly that way (using juice), it turned out good. Greybear makes that too. Teach will be begging for it.

Is his a good thing? All o fours are married and we still cannot get them out of the house....One moves out and another moves back in....with their spouse and kids! Oor middle kid is actually buying a house so don't think that they will be moving in anytime soon. Do love getting to spend time with the grandkid though.

Since ours are still at home age(for the most part) its nice when we get a day off...LOL. We have one that has moved out and has a baby and is getting married in July. She calls me all the time to help with the grandbaby. They will be leaving in about a year or less, her fiance is going into the marines. I dont know what they are going to do when there is no family to help...lol. I guess they will figure it out. She called me yesterday for the second day in a row to ask if I would keep the grandbaby cause they woke up late. It was 7:55am and she doesnt have to be at school til 9am and he has to be at school around 8:30am(the daycare is directly across the street from his school). She didnt think they had time to get the baby and themselves around. I told her I couldnt, wsa way too busy(got to teach them how to hurry sometime).

It is funny how they can hurry when it is something that they want to do but if it is something that they haved to do they drag their feet and beg for help.. Had to have a talk with the daughter last weekend because all her hubby wanted to do after work was go work out and train for MMA. He did this for like 2 weeks straight and my wife was watching the kid more than he was. Told her that we were going to start charging for daycare And she had the nerve to ask me why!

Well guess whowas home alot more this past week.

Yep! daddy has gotten alot better but still needs much improvement. I figure most of that will come when they move aeay from family and have to depend on only each other. But when the baby was first born after a few months our daughter went to work during the summer so I watched the baby. On daddy's days off he would come over to the house to play XBOX with our kids(they are all friends, that how he and our daughter started dating), he would walk back there so I would too. I remember Carl coming to tell me the baby was waking up from her nap. I looked straight at Jimmy(babby's daddy) and said "your daughter is waking up"... He looked at me puzzled(like you are watching her). I said you are dad I am grandma, when you are free it is your job not mine so go get her!
