Doing great. I try to walk and excercise close to 6 hours a day. Still using the walker and I only use the wheelchair if we are going out someplace as it is faster. LOL

You can just let her sit if you want, eventually she will give up, it might take her weeks to do so. If you would like to break her sooner you can try removing her and putting her on wire for a few days, sometimes that will break them for a bit so long as they are not too determined. It will not hurt her either way. The only time they ever get hurt sitting is sometimes you get one so determined to be a good mom that they dont get up to eat or drink(it is rare but it does happen).

Thanks I'll just let her work it out then, but keep an eye to make sure she is eating.

That is wonderful news Les!!

I can see saving that kind of money by not having to go to the grocery store! I won't even have a full list & spend way too much. I hope my plans work out this year with what I plant & if it does I will get bigger next year.

I noticed you need counter space.... i told Carl I needed a bigger kitchen and instead of the island block in the middle i wanted the stove in the center with countertops around all the walls...lol

Ace hardware usually carries seals for pressure cookers. The guages don't usually go bad - but one time my mother's pressure cooker got mixed up with a sister-in-law's at a family reunion and they didn't get their correct guages back for their pressure cookers. Green beans sprayed through the hole in the top of the pressure cooker sure make a major mess on the ceiling

Stephanie, I am still coughing and don't have any energy. This has been a tough bug to kick. It has kicked my tush big time.

Finally caught up, people are talkative this evening. My grandparents on both sides of the family canned. I helped some when I was young. I have a pressure cooker I bought at an auction a few years back, with the bottle rack.Does anyone have a recipe for chow chow, grand parents made it but no one has the recipe. Shure miss it.

Ive got that same cough so I feel your pain. I was doing so good, Carl had it for a month before i got it and I truly believe the only reason I got it was because of that dang bug we caught from Kasyn. I think my immune system just couldnt fight both of them at once.

My old kitchen had more counter space and a bar at one end that divided it from the dining area - so the large kitchen table was handy to use for cooling jars, stacking clean jars upside down on a towel until needed, etc. Jalepeno jelly was a favorite of mine to make as well. It is unique, not hard to get the right ingredients almost year around, and makes nice gifts. Now that I think about it, Stimpy was wanting to try some jalepeno jelly on hot rolls some time - NOT!
