I don't really count but I can fill my basket up on most days. I would say somewhere around 40 or so. I have a few broodies that I have eggs under & a few that don't lay yet or are older & don't lay everyday.

Anytime you breed a blue to a blue you will get 25% sport...most of them are poorly colored, more of a splash, a true lemon blue sport, lets say, would be solid white, with minimal pale blue flecks of color, and the cocks would have light lemon on their wingbow, saddle and hackle...most of what people call sports are really splashes, which is an off colored bird from a blue on blue mating...
I may have to stop coming here because if i dont and i keep reading about how good those NN are im gona cave in and have to get some for sure .. i cant say they are eye appealing to me as of yet but im sure they would grow on me... OR maybe it could be an excuse to get more chickens...

See the trick is to get them as hatchlings, they are so ugly they are cute & you fall in love with them. Ask anyone, I didn't like them & then I got one that hatched out of some eggs that Wayne game me & I have been hooked since.
