I had a bit of a scare yesterday, My neighbor called to ask if my chickens were Ok because she found alot of white feathers by her mailbox, and wondered if her 2 raggedy pit bulls got out. I rushed to the coop and checked all was fine no break in, I walked to her mailbox to check out the feathers on my way there I found a pile of feathers close to my Horse trailer, I examined the feathers and they were those of a wild turkey. Seems something ambushed a turkey from under the Horse trailer. It's turkey season and they are roaming pretty heavy from the hunting presure, I see large groups now every morning in my pasture. I sure was glad it wasn't her dog's, they are nice folks but they just keep picking up these pot licker rescue strays, and they don't keep them on their property very well. Anyway I have told them what the deal is if I catch them again and she & her husband understand, but are happy to just let me deal with it, did mention I hate pit bulls and stray dog's LOL.

He had a really hard time with daddy leaving again after R&R and became a mess. He cried for daddy for 2 weeks and became really clingy. He had some emotional problems and told me he didnt want to go to school cause I would leave. I think since he lost one parent he was afraid that I would leave too so it made him scared to go anywhere without me. He even screams bloody murder if he takes a nap and I am not in the house or in the room when he wakes up.

Bless his little heart poor kid, in that case I won't try and steal his chocolate bar at the auctions anymore LOL.

LOL I think he has finaly figured out I am just playin with him, it is fun to play hide and seek in the sale barn with him. I think next time I am going to put a hot dog on a long string and just pull it along like a fishing lure and watch him chase it hehehehehe I am sooooo bad.

Well, Better get off here and get ready. Got an appointment for one of the kids soon in Anadarko, and have alot to get done afterwards. Time to get to work.
