Well, we are finally home from California - got home just in time to find a RIR went broody and so she hatched out three chicks for me on Saturday/Sunday just after we got home:

I'm thinking maybe she hatched out a variety of other hens' eggs? Obviously one of them has the cochin for a daddy!

I now have two muscovy hens sitting eggs.

Tractor supply in edmond had the Egyptians. From what I've seen they will be pretty neat birds, does anyone know what kind of temperament they have?

Fayoumis are a feral type of bird, doing well running loose....go to feathersite.com and check them out...
