I was trying to mentally calculate when the last day would be to set eggs and have them hatch on or before May 13. It looks to me like chicken eggs can be set up to April 22 and turkeys, guineas and ducks should have been set yesterday. . . unless your incubator is like mine and hatching everything a few days early

I've got 38 bantam cochin eggs in my neighbor's hatcher. They are due to begin hatching tomorrow but two already hatched. We figured out that they may have begun to incubate early because I have been setting my eggs in my garage and it was very warm the week before they went in the in the incubator. My hatch rate have been really high but this may affect the outcome of this group. i learn something new everyday.
32 of the eggs are mille fleur and 6 are partridge. I found two lt. blue (maybe splash) chicks in the tub at 23dr St. Lumber 2 today. I was heading to the counter when I got a funny look from DH and remembered all the chicks due to hatch. We are just finishing up the 16' x23' pen and already there is no room for any new colors, just saving enough room for a LF pair.
How did I get such a flock in less than a year?!!!!! I blame all of you - LOL
AL - I didn't make it to Fletcher this evening, so I too have been awaiting a report about Fletcher.
MJ - did we forget to give you the standard disclaimer about some folks being addicted to hatching poultry and trying to enable others into becoming addicted too?
