Congrats on your hatching efforts with jack, now what in the world are you gonna do with that many Foo-Foo's MJ LOL.

AL

Swap them with other Foo-Foo chicken lovers. There are a bunch of us from CA to NY that are working on mille fleur cochins.
BTW - I prefer to call them Toy chickens or the Teddy Bears of the chicken world. My partridge Rooster, Rudy, loves to be carried around the yard and even visits the neighbors with me.

Some people have chihuahuas, I have lap chickens. Our cats aren't very snuggly and our dog is too big and active to "cuddle" so I have chickens. If I want to hang out with chickens that have a real job I go visit Jack's welsummers, marans and ameracaunas.

Five. Like I needed a reason to get chicks. Seriously, I won't have room for them. But dang it, they are kind of cute when they're only a day old...I got a black, two buffs, a partridge (I think - it's chocolate-colored), and one that I don't know what it will look like.

I blame NNbreeder. If he didn't talk them up so much I wouldn't know so much about them - all of these have bowties and look like cute little Donald Trumps.

i have to say my one and only NN has made a believer of me- blame Gotgame! she is the friendliest little hen i have- and will fly right to you for snuggles- and is soft as velvet- yep- been bitten by the little gal! they are funny looking but personality plus- and she is a banty, and hubby says petite and delicate looking-

Hello Shavon - are you feeling any better? I know you haven't slowed down any!

I'm doing fine as long as I don't try to raise my arms above my head. I'm currently waiting on my MRI results.

I actually quit my part time job, so I could have some free time, but it hasn't helped. I'm still booked for about 18-20 hours a day.

How's everything going up in T-town? I kinda miss the excitement of the big city. LOL

Nope just getting caught up. The week before I went into the hospital Teva and I went to the junk sale at Jones. There was a nice little Cremello POA tied to a trailer there and to make a long story short Teva bought her.

The funny thing is that we have a stallion and a gelding, and he was gelded at OSU so he's not proud cut, and would you not know it. The gelding is the one that tears down the fence to go see the mare. LOL I mean plumb down to the ground and the stallion stays in a three sided fence.
