First off is comb type: malay have strawberry combs, asil & shamo are pea combed.

Second would be shape or body type: malay have 3 distinctive curves of the neck, body, and tail. Their tail length tends to be much shorter than the other two breeds. Asil have a distinct angle to their posture wereas the shamo are about upright in their carriage.

Third, if you aren't around them much it is hard to tell unless you've studied photos and even those don't do the real deal any justice.

Good Morning everyone! Up with the roosters (now plural lol) crow this morning. Taking a group of 45 Seniors to the Hard Rock casino in Tulsa today. Should be a fun but long day. Does Vito go there? I could really use his help...will watch for Korean ladies going to the bathroom though. lol

Had internet issues last night so gave up posting, oh the joys of country living

Congrats to MJ on your successful Hatch - saw Mille Fluers on CL yesterday but they were out of Edmond.

Loved all the funny pics last night. Gave me a chuckle.

Have a wonderful day and here's hoping the gambling gods will be kind lol.

Good Morning, looks like you guys had some fun~ Great pic's Al, are those girls returning this year for entertainment?

Cay have fun & good luck today! I never got a chance to say welcome!

The roosters have been crowing here since about 4:30 and I know each and every one of them. What is cute is the Cockatiel named whistler, he mimics the song birds that are around here.

So I am going to get up and make my rounds this morning as usual but now it takes a lot longer to do. LOL

Good Morning My Fellow Peeps!

Is it Friday Yet? Just kidding! This is going to be one long week.

I turned some of my birds out to free range the last couple of days. They dont know how to act.

Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Goodmorning! So we found a black and white female Austrailian Shepherd lastnight out at our pasture with our cows. Someone dumped her. She is around a year old looks like and skinny right now. So we brought her home fed her, wormed her, gave her a bath and put flea and tick stuff on her. My other two dogs are not very happy with it but dealing with it for now. Would anyone be interested in giving her a forever home? We have taken to calling her Tess.....for now it is better than saying hey you come on lol.

thanks for all the information...it is probably one of those things that will just take some time to get figured out, as unless I have all three breeds here that i can compare against one another, they are all so similiar....we got bantam shamos, and hopin to pick up some bantam malays at poops

it is very funny how my wife used to love silkies, cochins, duccles, all the feather footed, fluffy foo foo chickens, now she has decided she likes the game breeds better, or as she calls them 'real chickens' lol....
