for those non fishers on the list, here is a list of definitions to help you understand this strange excercise of on purposely throwing things over the side of a perfectly good floating boat.
"A Few Fishing Definitions"
HOOK - (1) A curved piece of metal used to catch fish. (2) A clever advertisement used to lure a fisherman to spend his life's savings on fishing supplies. (3) The punch administered by said fisherman's wife after she learns what he spent their life's savings on. (Usually accompanied by word "right" or "left.")
LINE - Something you give your coworkers when they ask how your fishing trip went.
LURE - An object that dangles from the end of your fishing line and is supposed to encourage fish to bite it. It is the fisherman's equivalent of sports cards, comic books, buttons, lint, and other things you collect that generally have no purpose.
REEL - A weighted object that causes a rod to sink quickly when dropped overboard.
ROD - An attractively-painted length of fiberglass that keeps an angler from ever getting too close to a fish.
TACKLE - What your last catch did to you right after you brought him into the boat and right before he jumped back overboard.
TACKLE BOX - A box shaped alarmingly like a good first aid kit, only a tackle box carries an extremely large number of sharp objects, so that when you reach in blindly to grab an adhesive bandage, you soon find that you will need more than one.
TEST - (1) The amount of strength a fishing line affords an angler when fighting fish in a specific weight range. (2) A measure of your creativity when trying to come up with yet another explanation for why you have come home once again empty-handed.

Yep its friday morning,I'm glad too! Got the DW off to work,did a walk thru checking pens and birds. No hens piping today. Thunder and sprinkles again. Going north of us,supposed to break away and be in the 80s. Izzy trying to get me to hold her,she is afraid of thunder!
Waiting on a person to call and come and get some mice.
Going to church tonight,our church puts on an awesome Easter pagent. The center of the audotoruimn(spelling?) is the show place for a huge cross,the only lighting is small spots on the cross,with solemn music and a very well punciuated sermon. Last year everyone had their hands painted red and then we put our prints on the cross(they had it laying down as if carried). The cross was mounted on the corner of the stage the rest of the year. It was nice knowing our hands were always there.
Get to go to Elkton Ky. sale tomorrow(YEAH!) . Don't have anything to take except some eggs and a big cage/coop I decided I didn't need. I need to find some more bargains on craigslist!
I thought my dream was going to happen yesterday. Someone posted a donkey for sale or trade ,so I listed a bunch of I was willing(barely) to let go and the people were agreeable,but then I figured out it was a standar instead of a min! I really want a mini!
NanKat you need to open a bedand breakfast on your ranch!I so envy anyone ahveing the life experience of a big farm/ranch,even tho I know its really a lot of hard work and worry to keep it going.

Good Morning all my friends!!! Woke up at 3:30 this morning with major chest pain on the left side, left are tingling!!! Scarred the wife to death when I woke her to get me some asprin!!! Took two, no fever, no shakes, no sweats, just some major pain for about 20 minutes!!! I was having trouble getting out of bed, I know this sounds really bad but I did do some extra strnuous work yesterday using my arms a lot and I really think part of it was just muscle fatigue! Anyways was able to get up and go to the bathroom and laid back down and got back to sleep!!! This is Good Friday and i have today off anyways so was able to sleep in till about 7am. I do feel some better now but plan on taking it easy today!!! Yes I know I am stuborn but we can't aford for me to go to the hospital right now! Wife wanted to take me to the ER but I told her to wait and see how it goes. I am better, prayers are greatly appreciated from those who pray!!! We need them in so many ways!! For the fishermen out there, just watched BaitShop with Bill Ingavall!!!! It was great, you really should watch it if you get the chance, it was funny but really had a great message to it!!! Have a great day, gonna go have me a big ol bowl of oatmeal!!!! Lynn

Morning everybody, it's good Friday today, Mass at my church starts at 1:00pm then again every 3 hrs till midnight, I will go to one of them when I find what the day brings. How is everybody today ??.
