Tulsa area here. New to BYC and to chicken farming. We have eight littles still in the brooder and are going to begin working on the coop hopefully tomorrow.

Actually its a great place and you will learn so much. There is a great section on coops and designs too.
 
Welcome to the group little mama! You have a good start and we are all here to enable you to get more!lol have any questions ask away someone will know the answer. We have several in your area.

I spent the afternoon reconfiguring a breeder pen into 2 seperate Brooder pens, walk in type with full swinging doors, and tricity for the heat lamps. Got more chicks than I know what to do with and hatching more, I think I am getting into trouble here LOL. The 2 full brooders will go outside tomorrow as soon as I tweek the pens a bit, then go inside and set 2 doz more sheesh.
