Well it raining, its pouring and I wish I was snoring!

Last night was a lot of fun hanging out with all the BYCers who were there. Hope MJ did not get into to much hot water with Joe for her giant cochin incubator acquistion. hehehe Serves Joe right for not coming with her to the auction. hehehe.
As always when hanging out with the crew it is always a fun time. Of course I bought a bunch of chicks I really did not need but had to have. 5 white ameraucanas, 5 blue/splash ameraucanas and 3 LF silver laced cochins. But I did not bring any adult chickens home so it is all good.

My peahen is sitting on the porch right now looking in the window. My chickens are acting like they have never seen rain before and my couch is covered in sleeping critters.

Going to be coloring eggs after a while then making a huge batch of egg salad for dinner tonight. Yummy!

Need to brave the rain and go check everyone in the coop to make sure they are doing okay.

Thor got the rough end of the deal...one eye is swollen shut, feather loss in areas and his left thigh is bruised. Studley looks great...a little chagrinned since getting his horns bobbed...but still casts and evil eye.

Okay, I am grateful for the rain and all but there is now a river running down my driveway out to the back part of the property and the thunder is so loud it is shaking the house.
