Well I have tried the extra chores but I have to stand there and make sure it gets done, so might as well do them myself, tried the taking away stff and it doesn't work much either, I am thinking bootcamp for teenagers!!!!! Ready to pack his clthes and set them on the back porch!!!! If I had any hair left I would pull it out!!! I know this isn't payback cause I was never that bad or my mom would have jerked a knot in my tail!!!! I had more respect for my parents!!! So anyways!!!

Had three stray gineas come up yesterday, have not seen them today!!! Have been letting my biggerRIR mutt chikens out to grazein the lot while we do chores, they are as bad as teenagers sometimes. They always go where I don't want them, they sure chat it up too while they are out...

Well just heard on the news that Tuskaloosa Al got hit by an F4 Tornado today, one fatality so far, please pray for the people in the path of this mile wide tornado!!!! Lynn

Glad your okay ,although pro ably wore out! Didn't mean to pry but was getting real worried! It really is like a family on here.hope you didn't loose to many young birds,this wet weather and cool temps is a dowager waiting to happen on our chicks!

The whole point of extra chores is not help for you, but punishment for him. Yes, it is easier to do them yourself, but you don't teach any lesson when you throw up your hands and let them off the hook. It just makes you mad and they are snickering behind your back because it was so easy to get out of the chore. Yes, they have to listen to you rant and rave, but they got their pound of flesh by not doing the chore.
The most effective punishment we ever had was withdrawal of truck keys and making them ride the school bus. No friends allowed to pick them up and give a ride. It was humiliating to wait at the bus stop and ride the bus. Didn't have to do it too many times.

Hi everyone and maybe I should say Bye everyone lol, I am just checking in after catching up on posts. Wednesdays are a really busy day for me and I typically bring work home, so off to get some work done but used the excuse to catch on the thread and relax for a moment.
