A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our friends in Oklahoma that put together another one of the most successful ChickenStocks of all time!!!

Even if you're not an Okie, you hopefully have heard of POOPS (People,Of,Oklahoma, Poultry, Swap)... if not, then you must be living under a rock!

The event brought together about 200 people who and at least 2000 birds and was such a big success that local news picked it up! The POOPS TV special link can be found here: http://www.kfor.com/community/greatstate/ (Check out the GREAT BYC mentions!)

The official announcement on what POOPS is about and gives folks a look at the many choices and ideas they have during a chickenstock:

The POOPS raffle list just to give you a idea of the kinds of items and quantity at the event:

Again, a huge

to those that worked tirelessly to make this wonderful event happen!!! If our OK friends aren't careful, their event could turn into an Official BYC National ChickenStock!

Thanks Rob and BYC!

This year's "POOPS" was attended by people from Tennessee and Kansas and Texas (thanks for the reminder Doc Henry!), and we would love to have more people from other states attend. Our get-together's location has traditionally been at the KOA campgrounds near Choctaw, OK right off of I-40. It's only a few miles from Shawnee, OK - so those of you who make the trip to the Shawnee Poultry Show know where that is.

You're right Doc - I can't believe I missed you after you drove 6 or more hours from the Austin area - I am sorry! I'm going back now to edit my original post so I won't look so blonde...I mean forgetful!!
