Olandsk Dwarf Chickens

I have a confession to make.  I have olandsk/bantam dark cornish eggs in the incubator.

Now that's a strange cross lol! I have a few chicks that I hatched out that are Olandsk/ mottled bantam Cochin. I LOVE them! This is a pic of one of the pullets when she was about 12 weeks old. She is 17 weeks now and beautiful! I'll have to take a current pic.

14 of sixteen eggs showing great development and embryo movement on day 8! 2 eggs started but failed to progress, but overall looks like 100% fertility rate coming from Greenfire!

That is great news! How are the eggs doing?

Went into lockdown tonight (evening of day 17). 14 movers and shakers! 1 looks like bacteria/blood ring, that I pulled, and 1 that looks like it may have stopped somewhere between day 7 and 14 judging from th size. I didnt pull the second one, just in case its just behind the others, but we didnt see any movement in it. So out of the original 16 eggs shipped from Greenfire, I had 100% fertility, and 14 make it to lockdown! Now just waiting on the hatch between Tue and Thurs.... :D ;)
