Olandsk Dwarf Chickens

I am picking up Olandsk hatching eggs tomorrow! So eggcited! They are cute little birds. Anyone know weight? We also have D'Uccles, same size?

Mine are a little larger than a D'uccles (but they don't know they are little.) I have 5 eggs in the incubator and 5 under a broody.

Hope they hatch!

I got my first 9 olandsk dwarf eggs in the mail today! Hopefully I will have some of these beautiful chickens in a few weeks!

Olandsk babies hatching today so excited i can hardly wait now i know what an over protective hen feels like i cant keep from going back and checking on them to see if they have came out of their little eggs. Keep looking in through the window in the incubator noa arrivals yet!!! But hopefully will be here soon!!!

YES! I worked out a trade, so I'll be getting some girls for my lonely boy. He is just too pretty to sell, I had to get some girls for him. Thank you to all who offered up some.

On top of getting girls, I get to hatch babies without worrying how to keep them because they are all going to their new home on day one! It is a win win for me, I think. The only problem is, the more babies you see, the harder it is to fight the chicken math. lol

I'm curious too! When did you lockdown? I'm on day 15 with mine and can't seem to decide when to lockdown????

I have 4 developing eggs out of 9! Just 2 more weeks to go!

We can sell hens. Could be a month before the little ones are sexable, if you don't mind waiting.
