Oh isn't that just the best? I love when the little boys start trying to crow. I actually had a neighbor once call to ask me if my rooster was OK, since he sounded so hoarse & just sort of "off" - she didn't realize that it was a cockerel just learning to sing! And they look so proud of themselves, usually standing on top of the waterer, head held high, croacking like a frog.

Yes it is pretty funny I just got a Young Olandsk rooster from mothernaturesdaughter and he sounds like a little kazoo out there.

So glad you meet up with her! How many did you get? If you took a SFH roo, that one came from me. She said you might.

I got four five week old olandsk dwarfs,one older olandsk rooster,and the crested swedish flower hen rooster (couldn't resist)

So far all of them have been really nice especially the swedish flower hen roo he doesent mind being picked up and is very relaxed when I hold him.

Yeah! I am glad you got the SFH! He hatched July 1st here in Tn. Please send me photo when he grows up.

Now you have 8 dwarfs.... That is great! I am so glad that worked out for you. I am a little jealous, I only have 5....

Lol yeah an original trio turned into 8. I will have to update you with some pictures of the sfh roo. I got him to go along with a trio of other sfh that aren't going to have a crest so he will definently be a good addition to the flock.
