This spring was my first experience hatching Olandsk Dwarfs. Of five hatched, four are roosters! Egad!
So I'm hoping to get in touch with others in Western Washington who keep this breed, and see if we can do some swapping. Or if there's a group of OD fanciers that would be even better. Looking forward to "meeting" you!

My birds are lovely and my neighbors are too, but........

! Great to have you aboard! You might connect with some locals in the link WA thread of the link below who can re-home your surplus roosters. Good luck to you!

Hello Olympia Olandsk Dwarf Owner!
Good to see other local OD enthusiasts! I live on the Olympic Peninsula on Hood Canal.
Are you still looking for eggs? My girls (shown below) were hatched from Berrytangle Farm eggs and roo came from
Greenfire as a juvenile. They are laying well now and I am ready to start selling locally so I won't have to worry about shipping.

My friend's broody silkie is setting on a batch just now. Most are spoken for but there may be a couple of chicks in 3 weeks....
I am now trying to put together a Lyon incubator which should be up and running in the next couple of weeks, so hope to be
hatching some myself but meanwhile having lots of fertile eggs if you have a way to hatch them.
