Anyone know what is the oldest breed of chicken and what has changed in this breed over the year
Thanx for looking at this post and hope u have a wonderful time and any comments are appreciated as long as they aren't negative towards anyone

Silkies are the oldest breed, first recognized in 14 something by Marco Polo. As far as I know the only changes are more colors and the bantam size.

Oh right, Aseel (Asil, Azeel) are the oldest for sure. Well into B.C. era. Dorking are first Century and Silkie origin are unknown. First documentation of hairy chickens was by Europeans 13th century so actual age is unknown.
