Old English Game Bantam?

Ok, so in researching OEGB, I found out that there are striking similarities between them and Dutch Bantams. The Dutch Bantams have large white ears and slate colored legs. My little guy has small white ears and both buff and slate colored legs. I have another hen with fully slate colored legs, but white and blue ears. Does this mean he's a mix, and she's a Dutch?

Dutch Bantams have white ear lobes, not white ears. The lobes are that bit of loose flesh under the ears. Your guy has red ear lobes like Old English, and his tail is not nearly as full as a Dutch bantam's tail should be. His legs should be white and they look close enough to me, certainly not slate. He could be a mix or just not a perfect example of his variety, but I don't think he has Dutch bantam blood. As for the other hen, I don't know. If you post a picture or two of her I am sure someone in here can help.

Thank you, that helps a lot. My biggest concern was his leg coloring, which is a patchwork of cream and slate. Although, now I'm confused with the female, as she definitely has blue earlobes and blue legs. I'll post a pic after work today.

Okay, here's a pic of my other hen. I guess her earlobe can be considered "white" when viewing through a camera. When she comes up close to me, you can see that her skin is slate colored. Also posting a pic of my roo's legs so you can see what I mean about the patchwork pattern on him.

She is a light brown Dutch bantam. White earlobes do sometimes take on a bluish tint as hers do. I'd still go with Old English for the roo, though, or possibly a mix depending on where you got him.
