Does anyone know SOP for BB Red OEGB? I just recently purchased the cutiest little guy and I may be interesting in showing but I have no idea what to look for. Right now he is around 2 months old so he is still maturing. He should be ready be fall of the year IF he fits the mold. Even though the local fair may not be a Large Show with high quality I still think thats a good place to start. But even there Im not taking a bird that doesnt meet SOP.

Thanks guys

Did you check out the OEGBCA site? They have over 100 photos of good BBRs. Go here:

Years ago when I bred Black OEGBs, I also had a couple pairs of BBRs and saved this info. Don't know if this is current, and can't offer attribution, but it should be of some help, along with the photos at the OEGBCA site. When you get serious about exhibiting, then buy the standard listed at the top of this forum section.
